Hey, Everyone! I love seeing the photos. You all, and all your kids, look great. All those smiles!
Anyway, for those who don't know, I am the Archivist at the Virginia Room, the special collections room at the Arlington County Public Library. Tom (who does computer goob stuff in Herndon) and I and Elwood the Cat live in Alexandria, only a short drive from Karen's place. Things here are pretty good - however, excitement for us means that we got new front and back doors and matching storm doors. Ooo! Homeownership!
Since Feb. is African-American History Month, I was asked to put together an online exhibit featuring materials from the Arlington Community Archives (i.e. my stuff). The exhibit features papers from Edmond Fleet, who was a member of all these secret societies, like the Masons. It's only 6 pages, and if you are interested, you can see it at Arlington Virginia History - Fleet Exhibit
Not too much of a big deal, but since this a place for sharing........
