Ah, Good times, good times. Cheryl. you are a yoga instructor. How cool. I do yoga and I’m still pretty into running. In fact, I am running in the Cherry Blossom 10 Miler on April 2. If anyone wants to come cheer me on, I’d love to have you!
I am anxiously awaiting spring. I love the warm weather and being outside. We are joining the neighborhood pool, which will be fun. Dan commented that I spent as much on pool clothes, shoes and accessories for Aaron and I as I have the pool membership. You gotta look good at the pool, ya know.Monday, March 27, 2006

Hi Hall! Thanks to Amy for "inviting" me to the blog . . . It's great to see the updates on what everyone is doing, and I love seeing the photos of everyone with their little ones, and the uncanny family resemblances! Ok, first off, to address a few comments: While I'm uncertain if Paci (it has been so long since I've thought of him!) was sober at our party I am fairly certain that he was not when I requested his presence as Santa. I think that the idea came to me at about 3 in the morning one night and of course I called Paci (at the frat house) immediately, this was not something that could wait until the next day! I think his response to me was "are you high?" and my answer was "no, are you?" And the rest is history . . . As for my outfits and the infamous orange rugby shirt which I believe was purchased at the J Crew at the Williamsburg outlets, well, you'll be happy to know that (I think) I've managed to develop some fashion sense since college. But the giggle presumably remains the same. Sorry Marsha that you and Lindsey probably had over-exposure with our shared bathroom vents . . . As for me currently, I've been in DC since 98, when I moved here for law school. After graduating I was in private practice at a "big fancy law firm" for a few years, then fled the practice of law and the country for a while to teach English at a primary school in Kenya and upon my return started working as a lawyer for the EPA, which is where I happily remain, at least for the moment =). I live in NW and have a very energetic beau named Corey who unfortunately lives in SE, so we are living with the joys of a "long-distance relationship." (Ok, our offices are 1/2 block from each other, it's not so bad). With the arrival of spring we are beginning the third season of our courtship, as he likes to measure it. When I'm not nursing a bum knee (like I frustratingly am at the moment), I'm usually at the yoga studio (I was certified to teach last summer!) or in the pool or something. Today maybe I should do my taxes. Here are a couple of pics-- one is of me with some of my students in Africa and the other is of me and Corey pretending we are rock stars at a friend's karaoke birthday party recently. (Ps, speaking of photos, I still have the amazing photo album you guys put together for me-- what a treasure!)

What are your favorite freshman year memories?
- Karen changing clothes by the side of Richmond Road while we were waiting for the bus after shopping at the outlets.
- Vermonsters! (And I wonder why I gained 50 pounds in college...)
- Running up and down the hall blowing bubbles with Sinclair.
- Dancing to Blondie.
- A drunk Paci (our OA) playing Santa at our holiday party.
Any from you guys? I'm sure that there are others, but I'm running on 2 hours of sleep right now.
